Captain Stan - 2025
Reefscape
Our 2025 season bot was our favorite yet. It led to our most successful season since our rookie year, and is above and beyond anything we've built in the past. With it, we made it to the semifinals captaining out own alliance - a first throughout our entire history.
Key Features:
- The capstan drive, located at the front of the robot, is by far the best feature of our bot. 3D printed and carefully wired, it's used for scoring coral on the second and third level. It's operated smoothly by a motor and servo that allow for the robot to grip onto the coral with a compliant wheel, so it isn't dropped while we're trying to line up to score.
NoteWorthy - 2024
Crescendo
Our 2024 season bot, named NoteWorthy, served us well. It was easily operated and got us into an alliance at one of our competitions. Despite the fact that we didn't end up at States, it was altogether a good season with a reliable robot.
Key Features:
- The intake/outtake, located in the center of the bot, could have notes dropped into it and could shoot them into the amplifier or speaker.
